“Leaving was not as simple as just walking out the door. There were multiple courts dates to attend. I was trying to establish a new life but was completely overwhelmed by the ongoing stalking and manipulation, in addition to working and taking care of my daughter…
There were multiple services available that we were unable to use due to barriers such as lack of childcare, limited time and lack of transportation. I believe that the wrap around services that are available at The Andom Center will help to break many of the barriers that keep victims of domestic violence from getting the help that they need.”
