Stalking is a lethal crime. It affects more than one million women and nearly 400,000 men in America each year. Tragically, seventy-six percent of female homicide victims were also stalked in the year prior to their murder. More than half of these victims reported the stalking to police before being murdered.

This 18-minute training video was inspired by the tragic death of Peggy Klinke. Ms. Klinke was stalked and murdered by her ex-boyfriend in January 2003.
It is the hope of Peggy Klinke’s family that this video will give officers the information and tools they need to effectively intervene in stalking cases.
