Volunteering at the Rose Andom Center provides a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life. Whether your passion is working directly with individuals providing services or working behind the scenes on projects related to communications and marketing, we encourage you to fill out the Rose Andom Center Volunteer Application. Volunteers are required to complete 20 hours of training and be able to make a 9-month commitment. Please contact Susie Street, Program Coordinator, to discuss your interests.
Volunteer opportunities can include:
Marketing and Special Event support: volunteers will work closely with Rose Andom Center staff to assist with projects to help promote public awareness and outreach for the Center. This can include providing clerical support, drafting articles or researching information for the website or newsletter, assisting with special events, or other projects.
Hospitality: welcome clients and their children, help escort clients to agency contacts, welcome clients as they enter the waiting or kitchen area, or access the computers as needed, help ensure clients and their children are assisted during their waiting time at the Rose Andom Center.
Intake Specialist Assistant: provide support to the Intake Specialist by helping to cover the front desk area, answer phones, get clients started with intake paperwork and screening.
Pro Bono Specialty Expertise: professional expertise will be coordinated and scheduled to assist clients with specific needs such as job mentoring from human resource professionals, additional counseling resources, and legal advice and assistance.
