What an amazing time of the year! As 2019 comes to a close, we are so grateful for the Rose Andom Center’s tremendous leadership, Young Professionals Council, donors, volunteers, and staff.
Last week we hosted our annual Holiday Shoppe, inviting survivors with their children to enjoy a holiday celebration, food, drinks, and presents to share with each other. We had so many donations from the community to support the event, and 44 volunteers giving their time to help host 60 families with 158 children.
Our volunteers helped to decorate our party space, set up our “stores” for parents to “shop” for the children and children to shop for their parents, ran crafts, a cookie decorating station, a present wrapping workshop, corralled children, supported parents, served food and drinks, helped clean up, and SO MUCH MORE!
A extra special thank you to our community partner, the Denver Broncos who contributed all of the Shoppe gifts for our children this year and sent Miles to greet our families!
