Position Details:

•    Job Title: Resource Advocate
•   Reports to: Advocacy Services Manager
•   Salary Range: $45,000- $60,000 salary, Full-time (Non-Exempt)
•   Location: Denver, CO – In-Person

Position Summary:

The Resource Advocate plays a crucial role in the operations of the Rose Andom Center by serving as a client’s primary point of contact to connect with services. The Resource Advocate provides the initial intake, conducts risk assessment, and develops a plan to connect with identified resources for those who have experienced intimate partner abuse. The Resource Advocate assists clients in navigating resources and connections to our community and system-based partner agencies who collaborate to serve clients at the Center. The Resource Advocate is required to address a variety of client needs, with a trauma-informed focus, to assist clients with short-term safety planning to identifying partner connections for longer-term stabilization. Necessary traits of a successful candidate include an awareness of the complexity of intimate partner abuse and related issues, the ability to maintain high levels of
confidentiality, intuitive problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and facilitating positive connections with a broad range of agency partners.
