Heard. Respected. Valued.

For many Rose Andom Center clients, it’s the small things that build dignity and inspire hope.

For one client, it was a warm shower and transportation to a shelter.

For another, it was the opportunity to rest in a quiet place before grabbing some instant mac n’ cheese boxes to take home to their children.

“No one has treated me with this much dignity since I started the process of leaving my abuser,” said a client, who cried when she was offered water, coffee and new toiletries.

“I came into the building full of anxious energy, and left relieved, smiling, and full of hope.”

“I felt recognized as a whole person.”

“They put the human first, not the problem.”

“Everything and then some was provided with grace, sensitivity and the utmost respect.”

“I finally felt safe sharing my story – heard, respected, validated, valued.”
