Partner Spotlight – Servicios de la Raza

One day a week, an advocate from @ServiciosdeLaRaza is on site at the Rose Andom Center to help our clients build courage by managing walk-ins and taking referrals for a wide range of resources. While Servicios was built to serve metro Denver’s Latinx/Chicanx communities and provides culturally-responsive services to English and Spanish-speaking domestic violence victims, it welcomes all who seek support and is committed to helping survivors transition from crisis to self-sufficiency.

The Rose Andom Center has been pleased to partner with Servicios de la Raza since the early days of planning for Denver’s family justice center. Partnership with Servicios de la Raza’s VISTAS program has been a key resource to provide culturally responsive services to English and Spanish-speaking victims of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, stalking, dating violence, and other crime. Through their service model, the following resources are available for victims: 24-hour crisis hot line, case management, mental health, legal/victim advocacy, education, referrals and legal representation to victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault, and general crime victims. The Servicios team is prepared to be with a victim in crisis for anywhere from a day to multiple years. Their staff are available to work with victims of intimate partner violence coming to the Rose Andom Center, and to connect with the other range of services at their organization when they can also of support a victim. Services can help a client during the transition from crisis to thriving and support them along that path. The VISTAS team understands how important it is to keep victims and their families safe and thriving. We appreciate their partnership!
