Event Summary
This collaborative event between Opera Colorado and the Rose Andom Center will focus on the treatment and portrayals of women in the arts with a particular emphasis on opera. The Rose Andom Center is a place for intimate partner violence victims to find the safety, support, and services needed to rebuild their lives and heal their families. Opera Colorado will focus on its 2023 production of Don Giovanni. The intention is to have a panel discussion, featuring staff from the Rose Andom Center, the director and artists from Opera Colorado’s 2023 production of Don Giovanni, and a musicologist from DU.
