Walk with us on the path to HOPE!
Our participants need your positivity, mentorship, and affirmation.
The Rose Andom Center is entering its second year hosting Pathways and Camp HOPE, a year round community building program followed by a week long summer camp that serves and empowers youth who have been impacted by violence and trauma. Join us on this journey by volunteering as a Pathways Hope Coach!
Hope Coaches are adults who volunteer two to three hours at monthly pathways events, mentor and engage with participants ages 7 – 11, and provide encouragement and perspective. The focus of the Camp Hope and Pathways programs is to help youth overcome trauma by focusing on the power of community and the possibilities of the future. Hope Coaches should be prepared to hear difficult stories, share their own stories, and inspire youth to overcome barriers and achieve their dreams.
Volunteers must be:
- Present and engaged
- A cheerleader
- Have a passion for working with trauma-exposed children and teens
- Be age 25+
- Live locally
- Be willing to commit to attend one after hours event each month for one year

- Engage in continuing training and education on supporting youth and impacts of trauma
Our next training will be scheduled soon! To be contacted for an interview, please fill out the application!
Pathways events will regularly be hosted on the third Thursday or Saturday (alternating) of each month after business hours.
Ongoing training on de-escalation, hope centered-healing, neuroscience, and the impact of trauma will be provided remotely each month for volunteers to complete on their own time.
