The GET LOUD! art exhibition, hosted by the Rose Andom Center’s VOICES Survivor Advocacy Network, was an incredible success! Hope A Mile High Gala

We are incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for helping make the Hope a Mile High Gala an unforgettable evening! Whether you were able to join us in person, braving the snowy weather, or supported us from afar, your commitment to the Rose Andom Center’s mission means the world to us. Your presence, generosity, and unwavering support made this event truly special, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of our continued partnership with you.

It was an honor to celebrate the remarkable Margaret Abrams, whose extraordinary career culminated in her well-deserved retirement and the presentation of the Building Hope Award. Margaret’s leadership and vision have been instrumental in the growth of the Center, and we are fortunate that her legacy will continue to guide us as we move forward.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity and support from this incredible community at this year’s Hope A Mile High Gala, we have made significant strides in our efforts to support survivors. The energy and excitement during the paddle raise and auction were inspiring, and your contributions have brought us much closer to our fundraising goals.

Holiday Shop

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your support of The Rose Andom Center’s Holiday Shop. This special event is designed to bring warmth and joy to our clients and their families, and thanks to the generosity of the community, it was a resounding success.

With your help, we were able to transform our center into a festive haven where parents could “shop” for meaningful gifts, selecting treasures that reflected their love. On this unforgettable night, families gathered to wrap their gifts with care and participate in joyful holiday activities, all while creating lasting memories in a safe, nurturing environment.

The Holiday Shop provided not just an opportunity to give and receive but also helped foster a sense of community and hope. For many, it served as a reminder that even in challenging times, the spirit of togetherness and love can shine brightly. Together, we celebrated the magic of the season and created moments of joy that will be cherished long after the holidays have passed.

Drag Sing-Along Brunch

On Saturday, January 25, 2025, the Rose Andom Center hosted its inaugural Sing-Along Drag Brunch at Charlie’s Denver, bringing together a vibrant community in support of survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Despite the chilly, snowy weather, attendees filled the venue with warmth and enthusiasm, contributing nearly $6,000 to further our mission.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Emeritus Board Member and community leader Maggie Morrissey for introducing us to the phenomenal Lushus La’Rell. As the event’s organizer, M.C., and performer, Lushus’s energy and dedication were instrumental in making the day unforgettable. We also thank the incredible queens who, at Lushus’s invitation, generously donated their time and unparalleled talent to entertain and inspire us all.

A special thank you to Charlie’s Bar and their outstanding staff for hosting us and ensuring the event ran smoothly. Their support provided a welcoming space for our community to come together in celebration and solidarity.

To everyone who attended, braving the elements to stand with us: your presence and generosity make a profound difference in the lives of those we serve. Together, we’ve not only raised funds but also awareness, fostering a community of support and hope.
