2019 By the Numbers

Families impacted by domestic violence are continuing to find their way to the Rose Andom Center.

During 2019 2,031 unduplicated victims came in for services, for a total of 4,119 client ‘visits’. This included 1,505 new, first time visitors to the Rose Andom Center, and 518 who were returning for services from the prior year. This represents a 46% increase over 2018 in the number of “visits”, or times a victim is coming in to access a variety of services. The Rose Andom Center is intended to be the one location a survivor can continue to return to as they identify needs and as they are ready to take additional steps. We also saw 1,393 child “visits” to the fabulous playroom during 2019, where the amazing team from the MotherWise staff played with, read to, talked with and supervised children while their parent was receiving services.
