Sasha fled to Colorado with only the items she could fit in her car. Her partner had been stalking her and repeatedly violated the protection order she had against him. To be truly safe, she knew she needed to move to a location where he could not find her.
Sasha learned about the Rose Andom Center from a friend who had also experienced abuse. Thanks to the incredible work of Sasha’s Resource Advocate, and partners like Arc Thrift stores and I Support the Girls, we were able to provide toiletries, household items and clothing vouchers to help Sasha get settled. The Resource Advocate provided her support, additional safety planning and housing resources to help her begin a new chapter of her life.
