Rose Andom Center’s Domestic Violence Fatality Review Quarterly Bulletin

Welcome to the first edition of Rose Andom Center’s Domestic Violence Fatality Review Bulletin. The Denver Metro Domestic Violence Fatality Review Team (DMDVFRT) is one of the longest running teams in the country, gathering data and case information since its inception in 1996. Since then, our understanding of precipitating circumstances in lethal cases has grown, as has both local and national research regarding risk factors, incident characteristics and potential intervention strategies. We look forward to sharing key findings and information from the DMDVFRT as well as other IPV fatality review work occurring, to continue raising awareness regarding risk of lethality and recommendations to prevent and mitigate such risk.
