VOICES Survivor Advocacy Network

VOICES is a network of survivors who volunteer their time to advocate for other survivors and work as an advisory body for the Rose Andom Center. This is a volunteer opportunity for survivors and a critical way for the Rose Andom Center to receive feedback and guidance from survivors on the services it offers.

The mission of the Rose Andom Center VOICES Network is to provide a safe, survivor-led space for  survivors of domestic violence by finding the courage to speak their genuine truth and increase public awareness. VOICES seeks to empower other survivors by breaking the silence through resources, advocacy, hope, solidarity, and inspiration to spark meaningful change in the community.

VOICES is an opportunity for survivors to be at the table in a leadership roleIf you are a survivor and are interested in joining the VOICES committee, please fill out the form using the button below. Once submitted, we will reach out to you to schedule a time to connect!

A Note on safety –

Your safety and healing are a priority, and we want you to be in a safe and stable place before asking you to contribute your time and energy to the organization. Activities of the VOICES group may include outreach and public awareness about domestic violence and intimate partner violence, including public speaking.  Therefore, we request that members be at least one year removed from their experience of intimate partner violence and safe from any ongoing stalking or harassment that could put the survivor or other VOICES members at risk.

If your situation is not currently safe enough, we can connect you with an advocate to help you become safer. VOICES isn’t going anywhere – we will be here when you’re ready to join!
