Compassionate Medical Care in One Safe Location

At the Rose Andom Center, survivors can access comprehensive medical care in the same safe, supportive location where they are already receiving advocacy and other essential services. Through our partnership with Denver Health, the on-site Health Clinic provides high-quality primary care, women’s health services, pediatric care, and behavioral health support designed to meet the unique needs of survivors and their families.

Receiving medical care after experiencing domestic violence can feel overwhelming. Our goal is to make healthcare more accessible by providing compassionate, trauma-informed services in a familiar environment where you are already connected to support.

Medical Services Available

The Rose Andom Center Health Clinic provides a wide range of services for adults and children, including:

  • Treatment and follow-up care for injuries
  • Preventive and routine primary care
  • Care for non-urgent illnesses and chronic medical conditions
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Birth control and family planning
  • Prenatal care
  • Well-woman exams
  • Pap smears
  • STI screening and treatment
  • Pediatric sick visits
  • Well-child visits
  • Behavioral health services for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other mental health concerns
  • Flu shots and other preventive health services

 

If additional specialty care is needed, patients can also be connected with the larger Denver Health network for continued treatment and support.

Women's Health Services

The clinic offers comprehensive women’s healthcare, including routine gynecologic care, reproductive health services, pregnancy care, and prenatal support. Care is provided by experienced physicians, certified nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, and other healthcare professionals working together to ensure patients receive personalized, high-quality care.

Primary Care for the Whole Family

The Rose Andom Center Health Clinic provides full-scope primary care for adults and children. Whether you need treatment for a recent illness, management of an ongoing health condition, preventive care, or a routine wellness visit, the clinic team is here to help.

Denver Health’s primary care model emphasizes long-term relationships between patients and their healthcare providers, helping coordinate care and connect patients with specialists when needed.

Behavioral Health Support

Experiencing domestic violence can affect both physical and emotional health. On-site behavioral health providers offer compassionate mental health services for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, substance use concerns, or other emotional challenges. Services are integrated with your medical care to support your overall well-being.

Insurance and Financial Assistance

You do not need health insurance to receive care at the Rose Andom Center Health Clinic.

Denver Health offers a variety of financial assistance programs to help patients pay for their care. The clinic is committed to serving survivors regardless of insurance status, and staff can help explain available financial assistance options during your visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to report to law enforcement to receive medical services?

No. You do not have to make a police report or participate in the criminal justice system to receive services at the Rose Andom Center. Survivors choose which services they would like to access and remain in control of their own decisions.
