Thank You for Illuminating Hope with Us!

 The Rose Andom Center’s Illuminating Hope Gala was an unforgettable evening made possible by an incredible community of supporters who share in our mission to provide safety, support, and hope for survivors of domestic violence and their children.

This year, hundreds gathered to celebrate resilience, honor leadership, and stand in solidarity with survivors. Thanks to your generosity and presence, we came very close to reaching our fundraising goal for the evening, directly supporting emergency services and resources for those who turn to the Rose Andom Center in their most vulnerable moments.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our honorees, speakers, and leaders who made this event so meaningful:

• Courtney Johnston, Gala Chair, Board Member, and Chief Deputy District Attorney, for her leadership, moving remarks, and tireless commitment to supporting survivors through trauma-informed prosecution and collaboration. 

• John Walsh, Denver District Attorney and Honorary Gala Chair, for his powerful message on the importance of partnership, justice, and compassion.

• Attorney General Phil Weiser, for his impactful remarks on prevention, accountability, and strengthening systems to better protect survivors and families.

• Whitney Woods, Executive Director of the Rose Andom Center, for her inspiring remarks that paid tribute to the visionary leaders who founded the Center and for sharing her commitment to honoring their legacy while leading the organization into a new era of growth, innovation, and impact for survivors and their families. 

• Steve Siegel, Lifetime Service Award recipient and longtime leader, for his decades of commitment to survivors and for inspiring all of us with his reflection on the Center’s beginnings and vision for the future.

• Rose Andom, founding visionary of the Rose Andom Center, for reminding us of the powerful foundation on which this organization was built and for her continued sponsorship and support.

• Alana Watkins, Board Chair, for her thoughtful and heartfelt presentation of the Lifetime Service Award to Steve Siegel and for her steadfast leadership and generosity.

• Survivor Voice (A.), whose courageous and moving story gave the evening its heartbeat and reminded everyone in the room why this work matters.

• MILCK (Connie Lim), whose captivating voice and story telling illuminated the evening and made both the dinner presentation and the VIP meet and greet on the terrace a magical musical experience for all of our guests!

Your support strengthens the lifeline we provide to survivors each and every day.
