Like most things this year, we shifted to find a safer, virtual way to share the community generosity and holiday spirit with our families. In consideration for their needs, health, and safety, we reached out with virtual e-gift cards to best meet their family’s holiday needs – spreading a little extra holiday cheer to 138 families and 407 children.

Despite the challenges and ever-changing obstacles, the Rose Andom Center is fortified with dedicated and passionate leaders, tenacious partners, talented staff, committed volunteers, and a generous community. Always and especially during this time, we want you to know that your gift matters. 

We welcomed 5 graduate student interns to the Rose Andom Center team in September! The interns completed 20 hours of training in August and they are already making a difference for survivors.

This is a list of several culturally competent, Black mental health focused resources for Black and Trans folx in our community who may be struggling right now. Most of these are national networks, and all have online wellness tools or directories of providers. For a list of links, please see our bio.

During 2019 2,031 unduplicated victims came in for services, for a total of 4,119 client ‘visits’. This included 1,505 new, first time visitors to the Rose Andom Center, and 518 who were returning for services from the prior year.

The Rose Andom Center is looking for community warriors to join our Running Toward Hope team this May at the Denver Colfax Marathon.

Staff from Denver Health, Milender White, The Beck Group, MotherWise and the Rose Andom Center cut the ribbon on the completed construction of the lab last week.

When you donate a gift card to the Rose Andom Center, you give hope to a survivor in need.  Sometimes $25 can make all the difference.  That’s groceries for Angela’s children, gas to get Shonda to shelter, life-saving medications for Yasmin.

Last week we hosted our annual Holiday Shoppe, inviting survivors with their children to enjoy a holiday celebration, food, drinks, and presents to share with each other. We had so many donations from the community to support the event, and 44 volunteers giving their time to help host 60 families with 158 children.
