Sasha fled to Colorado with only the items she could fit in her car. Her partner had been stalking her and repeatedly violated the protection order she had against him. To be truly safe, she knew she needed to move to a location where he could not find her.

Volunteer Appreciation Month
This month is volunteer appreciation month! The Rose Andom Center has built a stellar cohort of volunteers and interns during the pandemic. To date, we have 17 volunteer guest navigators and two navigation interns. Our guest navigators respond to crisis calls, triage urgent medical, legal, and shelter referrals, and are a compassionate voice for survivors to talk with when they first connect with our center.

In consideration for their needs, health, and safety, we reached out with virtual e-gift cards to best meet their family’s holiday needs – spreading a little extra holiday cheer to 138 families and 407 children.
