Since opening in 2016, we have reached and worked with over 6,500 domestic violence survivors and their children. But it’s not just about the numbers and how many people we can help – it’s about the individuals, one person at a time finding hope, a community, and a safe space to heal and rebuild.

Volunteer Appreciation Month

This month is volunteer appreciation month! The Rose Andom Center has built a stellar cohort of volunteers and interns during the pandemic. To date, we have 17 volunteer guest navigators and two navigation interns. Our guest navigators respond to crisis calls, triage urgent medical, legal, and shelter referrals, and are a compassionate voice for survivors to talk with when they first connect with our center.

A Holiday Shoppe to remember

Like most things this year, we shifted to find a safer, virtual way to share the community generosity and holiday spirit with our families. In consideration for their needs, health, and safety, we reached out with virtual e-gift cards to best meet their family’s holiday needs – spreading a little extra holiday cheer to 138 families and 407 children.
