A community partner, a community event

Denver Children’s Advocacy Center has been a Rose Andom Center partner since our early planning process. Understanding our commitment to collaboration and providing comprehensive services to families impacted by domestic violence, DCAC has partnered to provide outreach, support and advocacy to non-offending parents and help assess and provide services to their children.

A community leader, group, and cause

Jessica Arett has worked to raise awareness around the work of the Rose Andom Center as well as bring new professionals passionate about the Center’s work onboard to the Young Professionals Councils efforts supporting the Sierra Russell Fund.

Sweet beginnings and togetherness

Jennifer and Sara have been a part of our community since the beginning. Entrepreneurial spirit catalyzed their participation to raise awareness about domestic violence and fundraising to help survivors get help, rebuild, and thrive.

Our partners and collaborations

The Rose Andom Center partners provide a wide array of services to victims and their children. Based on survivor feedback and the experience of other family justice centers, it was anticipated that the biggest need would be for advocacy and counseling, civil legal help, and access to shelter and housing.

Since the 1980’s, individuals, organizations, and legal agencies in Denver have been successfully creating and improving on a coordinated community response to the devastating impacts of domestic violence.

What we do

Since opening in 2016, we have reached and worked with over 6,500 domestic violence survivors and their children. But it’s not just about the numbers and how many people we can help – it’s about the individuals, one person at a time finding hope, a community, and a safe space to heal and rebuild.
